Looking at the instability of marginal situations facilitates us to see how the production of space is being driven by urban dynamics rooted in other fields than architecture. At the same time, the physical objects transform urban conditions and alter the way people exchange and relate to each other.
In my research practise, I am exploring the role of products as regulatory devices. They can be building components, spatial typologies, integrative design tools and methods experimenting the process of production of space. They can be also spaces of exchange beyond expert language where to share concern about territory as a common ground articulating the most intimate with the most collective.
