I investigate Research as a Creative Practice, focusing on the design of its artifacts: the Research Outputs.
For the Gent PRS (April 2014), I'll focus on a typical form of research output: viva presentation.
My main concern is to study how a research output can go beyond representation, so that it doesn't simply represent, report or describe insights, but rather make them present to the audience.
My research doesn't seek to provide a univocal answer to such a question, but it rather aims to collect different tactics and approaches. Mostly, it tries to trigger creative researchers to experiment and critically reflect on and through the design of their research artifacts.
